In my haste to pack and get my household duties in order, I didn't realize that my camera (last year's Christmas present) uses different memory cards than my previous camera did. Michael bought a memory card for my new camera, but come on!!! All my friends and family know that I am picture taker! I need more than one measly little 8 MG card! But how unlike me to overlook such an important detail.
Solution: Just stop at Target on our way to the airport. No problem! Well, it wouldn't have been a problem under normal circumstances, but traffic at Bush Intercontinental Airport was not normal for 1:30pm on a Monday afternoon. As we exited the freeway (and I began to relax because we were "basically there") we came to dead stop. TRAFFIC! It turns out that there is an accident on the street so all of the traffic from the freeway is just backing up the longer the accident sits there.
My flight leaves in 90 minutes. Should I just walk?!!?
